Learning to tattoo

My long term goal of being a tattoo artist has been put on the back burner for so long. I would love to have the time and connections to be an apprentice at some fabulous shop, but alas, that isn't in the cards so far. So, since I acquired the equipment, I haven't done much with it. Mostly for fear of fucking someone up by not knowing what the hell I am doing.

After practicing on fruits and fake skin, I did some initials on a friend a few months ago, which required a touch-up session and yesterday I did another; a set of boxing gloves on string. Getting used to the machine is the hardest part, there are tons of adjustments and figuring them out without some advise has been somewhat difficult. I am still learning and having a good time with it.
